 HIGH SCHOOL RACING

 Anyone enrolled in a public, private, or home school is eligible until the age of 19 – basically, we just don’t accept drop-outs

Anyone who graduates during the season or turns 19 during the season is eligible to complete the season.

Membership is not a requirement – but only members can compete in the points. The cost for a High School membership is $20 for the season. Members receive $5 off at the front gate and are automatically enrolled in the points. Member Students who are part of our Saturday race schedule do not have to pay for a High School membership.

All NHRA rules apply at all times. All WCD track rules apply at all times.

There are 11 races scheduled – 10 are points races – final race will be a points tie-breaker if necessary. Your worst race will be “thrown out” – your best nine will be counted. Points rules are the same as those for Super Quick and Junior Dragster.

            First round (win)                            30 points

            First round (lose)                           15 points

            Second & subsequent rounds (win) 10 points each

No use of electronics is allowed in the competition.

This is a Trophy Class. Race winners and runners-up will receive a plaque at the end of the evening. There are no purse monies.

Season points winner will receive a track jacket, plaque, and gold card for next season. Runner-up will receive a plaque. There is no cash prize.

All events are held in conjunction with the Friday Night Street Legal Drags. (See schedule below).

Drivers will be offered a minimum of two and a maximum of three time trials as time allows prior to the start of competition.

There will not be any buy backs. However, competitors who lose may move over and continue to run with the Street Legal vehicles even if your vehicle is not street legal.

Anyone under the age of 18 must have a notarized parental permission waiver on file prior to competing. See "forms" at the top of this page. BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD IN COLOR!
